For my heart, I lie

For my heart, I lie.

I hide what I feel because I don’t want to hurt my heart.

I feel I’m falling into the river of despair because of something that isn’t my fault.

Late at night when I am all alone, I can’t bear to look in the mirror.

I can’t help the tears that fall down my face.
